The Spanish artist has created a colorful collection of carpets and kilims for signing DAC.
The Barcelona brand carpet DAC invited the famous Spanish artist Nuria Mora to implement its charm, vibrant colors and geometry to a carpet. The result is a collection of kilims and carpets made 100% wool that give joy to each step and add a unique style to the room bathroom design inspiration.
Nuria Mora has increased its followers over the last decade by the lush geometric murals painted on the walls, often in degraded areas in cities such as Madrid, Tokyo and Paris. It has brought joy to the favelas of Rio de Janeiro and the slums of Johannesburg.
Nuria Mora, who is also a sculptor and expert in the art of origami on a large scale, is not yet an underground maverick – has exhibited his work in galleries such as the Tate Modern in London and the Miro Foundation in Barcelona. Occasionally collaborates with trademarks. He has designed for Loewe and for the organization of art Safewalls in a graphic project for Cirque du Soleil.
Rugs DAC Spanish firm was founded in 2002 in Barcelona, and has since designed carpets sold exclusively through its web and internet trading platforms. In designing their collections they have participated known Spanish fashion designers like David Delfín, Victorio & Lucchino or Jordi Labanda.
